Hey, don’t know if you’ll see this or if you can help, hope you can.

My W164 ML got a weird electrical glitch the other day and it turned all the COMMAND and dashboard on and off for a like two times, like no speed no rev counter no radio screens nothing, the car worked fine, we actually could keep moving just fine.

But afterwards the center screen started sending the message thet the Auto Lights weren’t working, but as far as I could tell the did, until like 4 days later that as far as I could tell they stayed on when the dial was on auto, everything works except that.

I’ve been meaning to take it to the dealer but I’ve been completely swamped at work to take 2 hours to drop it off.

Do you think you could mabe shed some light into the subject?

Best guess without looking at it would be ignition switch. They’ve had an issue with them on those cars, where you turn the key and nothing happens, or things will shut off randomly, because the switch opens electrically internally when it shouldn't.
